Sparkle + Shine
Classic with a twist! I am drawn to classic pieces and not easily swayed by the latest fad. But, for me, choosing the right accessory keeps it fresh and fun!
Love this purse!
This photo reminds me of high school, back in the 80's, most likely the beginning of my love for all things that sparkle + shine. My parents took a trip to Chicago and brought me back a rhinestone brooch, it was love at first sight and complimented my rhinestone bracelets, the 80's, everything was big and over the top. I wore a uniform to school every day, and looking back, it wasn't so bad, classic, but in need of a little personality, sparkle + shine = rhinestones. It was a light blue pinstriped dress|skirt with a navy blue sweater. I say dress|skirt because technically it was a dress, but I cut off the top and made it into a skirt, much more comfortable and stylish, and with the right blue sweater not easy to spot, unless you are the Dean and frown upon things like that.
Prettiest shoes!
Hope your day has a little sparkle + shine!

Ticking
Ticking is a tightly woven heavy cotton or cotton linen blend fabric, constructed or printed in striped or floral patterns. The tight weave and durability makes it ideal for pillows and used as a covering for upholstery.
Love the look of striped ticking with burlap or linen!
