I have a few paint projects to undertake, but, have been putting them off.....not a huge fan of painting, well, maybe I should say, not a huge fan of painting anymore. For several years there was much to paint. It seemed like every time I turned around I was painting something, so much so, I had a painting wardrobe, which consisted of all of my not so favorite clothes covered in furniture and wall paint. I had paint and project burnout! But, after a bit of rest and a shredding ceremony of my old paint uniform, I think I am ready to give it a go again, and I have heard nothing but great things about Annie Sloan's chalk paint.

Annie Sloan has been painting for over 40 years and written many books on the subject, and has created her own paint called chalk paint. Annie has said, "painting should always be a pleasure". Chalk paint is water based, easy to use and clean-up, made specifically for painting furniture, walls and even floors!
There are many colors to choose from and this unique paint can be mixed or layered with other paints and waxes to create your desired look. I was fortunate to find a retailer that carries Annie Sloan paints that is just a 30 minute drive away. So, now I just have to decide which project to do first! I think I might start with a dresser that I have in my bathroom, I will be sure to take a before and after photo. Did I mention.....there is no need to prime or prep, ahhhhh! For lots of information, Annie Sloan.
Have a wonderful day!
Maggie
